Milton Keynes Hash House Harriers
History
MKH3 was started on 28th May 1990 by a Kiwi refugee from the Wellington Hash,
Jonathan (Grizzler nee Wiley Coyote) Hobbs. The first venue was 'The Old Barn'
in Central Milton Keynes. In true hash tradition Grizzler was the only one to turn up.
This made it easy to set the next run on 4th June 1990, which was from 'The Old Barn'
in Central Milton Keynes! This time he was more successful and there was a pack of 10.

Where are they now?
Everybody has disappeared, except Grizzler who left the UK but has recently returned.
The first few runs were every fortnight and then it moved to being weekly.
We have continued to run every Monday since 3rd September 1990.
Grizzler set up the hash along the lines of the Wellington Hash.
He even bought along the secret plans for the famous flour trail laying dribble droppers.
For being such a whingeing Kiwi bastard, Wiley Coyote was swiftly renamed to Grizzler
Things snowballed when it got into the local paper.
Pretty soon it was on to the first anniversary bash at 'The Old Barn' in Central Milton Keynes.
This was followed by our first real bash, the 2nd anniversary at Milton Keynes Rugby Club.
This entailed the use of the infamous Bicester Gunge machine.
Things have moved on and we had a massive 500th bash in 1998 which was thoroughly
enjoyed by all those who could remember any thing about it.
We topped this with our 'Devil of a weekend' bash celebrating our 666th run in 2001.
For our most recent event we were proud to be the hosts of the 14th UK Nash Hash in 2007 at Towcester Racecourse
